INSTALLATION OF A NEW NATURAL GAS STANDBY GENERATOR FOR MCDONALD PIKE OFFICE BUILDING
Notice is hereby given that Request for Proposals will be received at the office of the Board of County Commissioners of Paulding County, Ohio, 451 McDonald Pike Suite E Paulding, OH 45879, Until Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 11:30 a.m., at which time and place, RFP’s will be opened and read for Installation of a new natural gas standby generator for McDonald Pike office Building. Bidding specifications will be issued at the Office of the Paulding County Commissioners, 451 McDonald Pike Suite E, Paulding, OH 45879. This proposal is for the installation of a new natural gas standby generator for McDonald Pike Office Building located at 451 McDonald Pike Paulding, OH 45879. The Scope: Procure engineering, State of Ohio permits, design and install a new emergency standby generator for the McDonald Pike Office Building. Include the following:
- (1) 150Kw or (appropriate size for facility), natural gas fired generator
- (1) New 800A automatic transfer switch, Service Entrance Rated
- Controls wiring and primary wiring
- Engineering for the project
- Project management
- Concrete base
The bidder awarded the contract must provide a performance bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, in an amount equal to the bid. Said performance bond will be required upon signing the contract for this project.
Bids may be hand delivered or mailed in a sealed envelope to Paulding County Commissioners, 451 McDonald Pike Suite E Paulding, OH 45879, and bearing the Bidder’s name and address and marked “RFP for Installation of a New Natural Gas Standby Generator for McDonald Pike Office Building”.

FIBER-TO-THE-HOME (FTTH) NETWORK CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION IN JACKSON TOWNSHIP
Notice is hereby given that Request for Proposals will be received at the office of the Board of County Commissioners of Paulding County, Ohio, 451 McDonald Pike Suite E Paulding, OH 45879, Until Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., at which time and place, RFP’s will be opened and read for (FTTH) Network Construction and Operation in Jackson Township. This proposal is for the development and operation by a “Provider” of a high-speed fiber network for the citizens and businesses in the Service Area. The objectives are to establish a Network that:
- Is able to offer retail broadband connection of 1 Gbps and at least 700Mbps throughput download speed over each connection provided to a premises;
- Is able to support high quality data and video [cable TV] services;
- Uses fiber-to-the-premises network architecture;
- Covers 100 percent of homes and small businesses in the Service Area;
- Is rolled out and made operational progressively, on a demand driven basis, over 2 years from the date of execution of a contract.
The bidder awarded the contract must provide a performance bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, in an amount equal to the bid. Said performance bond will be required upon signing the contract for this project.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids will be received by the Board of Paulding County Commissioners in their office,
115 N. Williams Street, B-1, Paulding, Ohio 45879, until 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 27,
2022, when they will be opened and read, for the Paulding County Courthouse Exterior Door
and Window Replacement, located at 115 N. Williams Street, Paulding, Ohio 45879, in
accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by Beilharz Architects, Inc.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at the job site at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2022.
Contract Documents may be reviewed without charge during business hours at the office of
the Architect and various plan rooms obtaining documents. Contract Documents may be
purchased from Newfax Corporation, 333 W. Woodruff, Toledo, OH 43604, 419-241-5157
or 800-877-5157, www.newfaxcorp.com, at the cost of reproduction and shipping. Addenda
will be distributed to registered plan holders only.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and
Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (base bid plus all add alternates) or a certified
check, cashier’s check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid
(base bid plus all add alternates), in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Each Contractor will be required to furnish an Affidavit of Contractor or Supplier on Non-
Delinquency of Personal Property Tax (O.R.C. 5719.042).
Prevailing Wage Rates, as published by the Ohio Department of Commerce, shall be
complied with throughout the entire project in accordance with O.R.C. 4115.03 et. seq.
No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of 60 days after the opening thereof. The Owner
reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such
investigation as necessary to determine the responsibility of any bidder.
